Hogan girls, 30"x40"
Hi,
I sure wish I could have been at the PSOA - hopefully next year. Here's a recent commission of two sisters and their mother. The mother wanted to preserve this period of their lives where they hold hands and are so close. I was glad she let me put her in the composition as well, as I think the girls will enjoy her in there as the years go by.
Linda
p.s. I am horrible at getting the uploading digital image to look like the painting for some reason.

Linda--
This is lovely...
What I always admire about your work is the ambition and scope you bring to your compositions. I'd be intimidated by a project as complex as this. I'll remember it as a challenge to take on the more complicated pieces.
Always good to see what you've been up to.
Best--TE

Thanks Tom,, It's always nice to hear from you. I plan to attend next year's conference, so hope you'll be going too. It was frustrating to miss the party and all the talent there!

Dear Linda,
That family must be thrilled! You are SO masterful at incorporating garden settings into your portraits. Lovely.

Oh!
It looks like the garden of Eden, a sort of paradise for little girls...
I almost can smell the flowers, and feel the sun.
Very nice!

Thanks Chris and Marina. Literally almost every client requests a outdoor setting . I think it's because the painting is that much more to enjoy during our seamingly endless winter ( We even heard of possible snow in MN last night on the news! The joke here is that our summer is the best any where. Both days of it....
