Hi Linda,

This is a pretty good description of Bouguereau's palette.http://www.artrenewal.com/museum/b/B...rk_walker4.asp

Linda I am wondering if you have seen Daniel Parkhurst's palette - student of Bouguereau's? I too am wanting to learn more of it. I am having trouble getting the following, maybe the names have now changed; if any one else knows them and what brand names?

Strontian yellow, Roman Ochre, Trans Gold Ochre, Aureolin, Chinese Vermilion, Scarlet Vermilion, Orange Vermilion, Pink Madder, Purple Madder, Madder Carmine, Rubens Madder, Ultra Blue Brilliant.
