Del Priore Aug 03 Workshop in CT
CSOPA and the Darien Arts Council were honored to host Michael Del Priore August 11 - 14 for four days of electrifying painting in oils and pastels.
His palette is a synthesis from leading painters, teachers, and years of experience building what has been referred to by many as the most prolific career in portraiture.
We learned so much about composition, paint and people. "We are in a people-business," he pointed out. "Unless you are independently wealthy and don't care about selling anything..." Quite often, the artist who ultimately wins a commission is someone the patron likes to be with. This is especially true for repeat business within the same family.
Mr. Del Priore's charisma is as vast as his artistic talent. We thank him for sharing both so generously with all who attended.
I humbly submit my paintings below from the seminars lasting two days each. (Approximately 10 hours of painting each.)
