Nice expression, and tough from a black and white.
Drawing children larger than life tends to be a bit troublesome, as the overall size of the face tends to be bigger than the individual features - almost invariably. Here, all the features seem to be too small on a face that is too big. Rarely does an artist who draws bigger than life ever draw the features big enough. The tendency is just to not want to draw the features bigger than life after committing to a bigger than life head.
Perhaps when drawing bigger than life, you should use some transfer method to insure accuracy and to avoid making a child look more like an obese adult.
