portrait of a girl




I just finished this portrait, did something different than I normally do with the background. Maybe I am going to try more backgrounds like this one. Works by Matisse, who uses a lot of ornaments in his backgrounds, inspired me.

Dear Mischa,

Thanks for you reaction! Here is an other picture of the portrait, this time with frame. I painted the frame, an experiment but I think it suits the painting.
