Frans Hals' Laughing Cavalier
I recently started painting a copy of Frans Hals' Laughing Cavalier, oil on canvas board, size 12" x 14".
The reference I had was a laser printed copy 8 years ago. There is a lot of distortions. Now that I seen the much more clean and accurate picture on art renewal, there is a lot of things wrong proportionally and tonal. But really learned a lot from this copy.
I will do the modifications in the next weeks.
