Three Fates

Hi

I just realised that it has been three years since I last logged in. I am not a serious portrait painter and many of my works have nudes so this was not the perfect forum for me at that time. Now I decided to drop in and found that there are some interesting new forums here.

Here is one of my nude paintings. This one is called Three Fates. It is oil on canvas 120 x 120 cm. I painted it last year.

Such a beautiful painting! I like the patterned composition and dramatic lighting. Fortunately there is a larger image on your website to help us appreciate your craftsmanship. I wish I could see some details and textures even closer. Could you post some extreme closeups of skin textures and hand details? I would also like to know what are the colors you use on the palette? I like your limited range of colors. Your gradations of light are fantastic. Thanks for sharing this, and welcome back!

Sorry about the misleading link. There was an old website address in my signature. I fixed it so you can view the painting a bit bigger there. There are also some work in progress shots of it.

I do not have very good closeups of Three Fates but here are two detail images of the hands.
