Prize winning palette!

My grandfather/art teacher was an old school realist but found himself at odds with his times, the fifties, which was the dawning of abstract art. His son, my uncle, was an art student at the very liberal University of Puget Sound. He swiped my grandfather's watercolor palette (which was merely a puddling of colors with some piles of dried out paints),framed it, named it "Marine Fantasy" and entered it in the school's art exhibition. It received honorable mention!!!
