My first post here




Hi everyone! These are a few charcoal studies.Comments and critiques welcomed.

Hi Gabriel,

Your pictures have a nice feel to them. Nice use of toned paper and white and generally good drawing.

Here are some things you might consider to make them even better.

More darks - it would give your works extra contrast - more "punch" to the image. Your work is delicate, and I appreciate that, but I see too much of a uniform lightness.

Careful attention to symmetry of face and eyes - especially the eyes. Subtle issues, but the distortions interfere with the beauty of your work.

Lots of talent that is very evident - I'm looking forward to seeing your continued progress....
