"For Love or Money: A Business Handbook for Portrait Painters"
I've overhauled and updated the handbook I provide to students enrolled in my "For Love or Money" workshops.
Quote:
This handbook is published as supporting material to my portrait and business course, "For Love or Money: Portraiture and the Pursuit of Excellence" .
The course is designed to give portrait painters a set of painting skills, as well as business skills, including presentation of work, client relationships, pricing, marketing, photography of both subjects and art - and most importantly, a structure within which each artist can develop a customized business plan.
This handbook is not intended as a stand-alone resource, since some of the topics are presented in a shorthand form, meant to stimulate discussion in the workshop setting.
Includes a step-by-step demonstration, from start to finish, as well as a gallery of portraits.

The information in the handbook is quite condensed, and it might not make much sense for anyone who hasn't obtained it through attendance at one of my workshops,
I've posted some crossover information about http://www.blurb.com/home/1/ in the Business and Marketing section.
