John
This one feels good to me...
His wife is a ceramic artist, and we included one of her pieces.

Oh Tom... what a beautifully orchestrated painting, such lovely subtle grays... and those desaturated red stripes to punch up the composition. And then there is the thoughtful and kind face, always a touchstone in your work.
I learn so much from your paintings, which are always sensitively rendered and intelligently planned. You are also one of the hardest working artists I know and you hit an awful lot of home runs.

Tom,
Beautifully done as always! What else is there possibly to add, that Linda has not already mentioned?!

Dear Tom,
I couldn't agree more! Beautifully composed in every regard, and exquisitely executed.

Thank you so much everyone....these comments are energizing, and I'll keep them close by for when things aren't going so well in the studio.
As to working hard, I'll repeat this anecdote: I'll never forget witnessing Burt Silverman turn around during a PSOA demo and saying, "I was working the other day in the studio, and it occured to me, 'You know, I've really got to get better!'"
Best--TE

Tom, this is absolutely so elegant and balanced.
The openness of the posture and the friendliness of the expression make an immediate connection with the viewer.
Thank you for showing us

Tom, this is absolutely stunning. I can't get over the way you have placed everything, so balanced and pleasing to the eye. The red tie and scroll (wall-hanging) are brilliant and bold touches.
Not only that, this man looks so alive and approachable. I can tell you really spent time with him. The response is there in his expression, and it is transmitted to the viewer.
I also really admire the textures of the books, the clothing, the ceramic bowl, and how they all work together. Gosh, Tom, you keep getting better and better! How can that be possible? Awesome!

Ilaria--
John is very much that way. He is retiring from heading a leadership development institute, and I noticed as we walked through the campus that he knew everyone by name, and activities they were involved in outside the workplace.
Alex--
Thanks so much! I'm attempting to introduce more meaningful details into the environments of the current paintings, and yet keep everything balanced and controlled, as you do so well.

Beautiful, Tom. Congratulations and keep them coming.
I admire your color, composition and craftmanship - the 3 C's.
