Wow, very, very nice, did'nt realize it was pastel until I read it. I'm going to go look for it in the WIP area to see it come to life. Once again, great job!

This is wonderful! Congratulations. I think the background you chose is absolutely perfect. I love the way you handled the skin tones. It looks like Marvin Mattleson's palette for pastels! (That is a compliment!) Again, beautiful work, full of care and sensitivity.

Oh, thanks everyone, your comments mean a great deal to me. I finally had to stop hesitating about the background and just jump in to finish this piece.
