Roses in the garden




Hi,

This is my daughter Camilla. I started the painting along with two others this summer, but have been busy rearranging my house/atelier lately, but now I am back.

Thank you Linda,

I remember your and Sharon's latest pictures having very active backgrounds, and find that it is an extra dimension in the portrait if there is a room behind the person.

I intended to make it rather flat as a tapestry, and not a deep landscape, to not attract from the face. More as a decorative arabesque pattern.

When I first came to this forum I remember seeing his pictures. I can relate to his way of mixing landscape and portrait. He is very skilled and vary the individual pictures so that it don
