A couple of weeks ago I read a post on "the 10 most important features in a portrait". It was explained in that thread that it is good to have your values grouped in lights, middle tones and darks. When doing a brochure for my exhibition in black and white I used this image on the cover. I then realized that this portrait had that 3 value grouping, or am I wrong?

Hanna,

This is a beautifully rendered, sensitive portrait. All you need to do is sign it. Congratulations!

Fine work, Hanna. Now for your last decisions: cropping and signing! How, and where?

Critque vs. unveiling

Hanna, you may have gotten your answer about the critique. It hard to comment on artwork that needs no changes! It's beautiful as is.
