Congratulations, Michelle!
My son is in the Coast Guard. I have a great deal of respect for this branch of Homeland Security. They are a very tight knit, honorable community of men and women who get little recognition. Few people understand that it is the Coast Guard who keeps our waters safe and when the Navy is overseas, the Coast Guard is there securing the safety of the Navy.
I can't wait to see your painting and look forward to hearing about the ceremony. Those guys and gals are pretty stunning in their dress whites!
