Dianne, this is off the topic just a little, but have you ever thought about creating larger paintings of historic scenes with many figures? I think you would be terrific at it.
I love the painting, by the way. Her expression makes me wonder. Is she thinking? squinting? winking? When a head is tilted to that degree it is hard to line up the features, and I see a discrepancy in her eyes--one is lower than the other. I think the one on our left (her right) might be too high at the inner corner, in other words, at the wrong angle. If you tilt it a little more it should fall into place.
