This is very nice Steve. Such good solidity with so few strokes.

I also want to take this opportunity to say that your "Andalusian Lady" (which has always stuck in my mind since I first saw it on the PSoA website) is superb! Better, in fact, than the 2006 Grand Draper prize-winner. Even though Romulo Galicano's "Eddie" has a more complex composition, your painting has a mastery that is supremely sure. That genius black outline on that (perfect) pink top, and the lovely background (and the very clever way the canvas becomes the backdrop to the figure, giving an extra sense of 3-d reality), the composition, and the flesh - it's all just wonderful.

Would it be too much to ask you to post it here with some close-ups. I took a look at your website, but it wasn't there, and the PSoA image is quite small.
