Painted using the client-provided reference images, and incorporating a color palette of their newly remodeled interior, this project was really enjoyable. I added two shadows on the left to represent the parents, and kept the composition off center as much to de-emphasize the gap between the children as much to emphasize the patterns of objects and shadows on the right side. As seems to be my style, I try to paint in realism and impressionism combined.... realoosism!
