Greeting Cards

Greeting Cards are an often overlooked sales tool. During art shows and through your web site, these card sales can generate extra income. They are an an affordable marketing tool, which allow you to double your target audience (sender vs receiver). Cards not only showcase your latest works, which hopefully will generate new commissions, but they are a way for you to stay in touch with clients.

With the holidays fast approaching, I have been dreading having to write to my ever increasing list of contacts and licking stamps to the point of passing out.

Always on the look out for new ways to make business chores easier, I met with Barbara Schilling, a rep for SendOutCards https://www.sendoutcards.com/.

She showed me how you can not only up-load your own images, but that the site allows you to write, address and mail directly to your clients, all while you are logged into the site.

There are several different fonts for you to choose from and you can even have your own signature line. Furthermore, when it becomes time to send the cards, you can upload your address book and the company will automatically label all your envelopes and attach the correct postage (domestic/international).

What you enter can be stored for future use or can be deleted as needed. There is a sign up fee and you need to prepay your postage. I thought for doing mass mailings this comes in very handy and I wanted to share my new found tool.

For those of you interested in marketing your artwork on-line, you can also become one of their designer artists.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions, and I will have Barbara get in touch with you.
