Rembrandt study
Here is one of many Rembrandt studies I've done. The character of his lines in his etchings and ink drawings is tremendous!
This drawing is part of a full sketchbook where I drew everything in ink. I wanted to get away from relying on the eraser so much and force myself to really look at something before placing lines on the paper. I figured ink was the way to go, plus it has a character all its own. It really paid off!
