It's a smaller world than I often realize. We both have portraits of federal judges in the same courthouse! I am working on another one right now. Thanks for your very kind compliments on the Ed Rendell portrait. I probably spent a little too much time on that one. By the way, I accidentally destroyed the frame, and had to re-gild it myself (which is what you saw).

The Rendells knew all about that. I hope you found a good frame for Judge Shapiro. Again I love the spatial depth in that portrait, with the way you have included the exterior distance. It is always a thrill to gaze out upon the cityscape from those lofty sumptious judicial chambers. I know what you were feeling when you were there. Glad to "meet" you again!
