The National Portrait Gallery is a Goldmine for people like us.
When I visited the Gallery, positioned in the building complex of The National Gallery in London, I was focused on portraiture that had relevance to my own painting. I had limited time and may have missed some.
I was amazed of the fine representation of Sargent portraits. They all stood out and seemed like they could have been painted yesterday.
The only other portrait I remember is Watts
