This is charming! I find oils the easiest of mediums. You accomplished so much with variety of texture and values in monochrome.
My only comment regards the shadow on the forearms which might benefit from additional modelling and softening.
In another version, it would be interesting to see how classic glazing techniques (alla Raphael?) might be layered over to introduce subtle color and life.
