Geri-

Stand oil is a very common ingredient in a lot of artists' medium, both storebought and homemade.

I mix my ratio of one third stand oil and two thirds odorless mineral spirit for my medium--what little I use--and it dries faster than a 50/50 mix. Here in the South, that's an advantage. It still stays wet for a day or two at least. You might also try Gamsol OMS since it's more refined and your sinuses might take it well enough.

Play around with different mixtures until you get something you like.

Best--TE
