This 8×10 pencil portrait of a departed mom was commissioned by a family friend from a church-bulletin photo, and is the 2nd time I’ve drawn her. I had to fabricate some details the church-bulletin photo didn’t reveal. I used a Blackwing pencil which is 4B on Canson pure-white paper.
