Departed husband on the beach watercolor
 

This 8x10 watercolor portrait of a husband on the beach was commissioned by the wife. Sadly the husband has passed away. I referenced separate photos to paint this, one of the husband from an advertising banner on which he was shown combined with another photo of the beach. I used Daler-Rowney Artist’s transparent watercolors on Arches-140-lb-cold-pressed paper.
