I think I have my Cassatt.
 

I worked larger. I used a lot more high values, using more color, not dark to create my shadows. Same mom and son, but lots more use of strokes and color. I will re-photograph it. It looks very dark posted, but it has a lot more light than shows.
14x 22" or close, on 140# cold pressed WC paper.

What an inspiration you are Debra, still prolific. Yes this work is very much a cassatt but I think it is a creative Debra.

Debra, I don't know how I missed this. Beautiful work: I can see your love of pastel in every stroke. By the way, this is a "Debra Jones" and lovely - the subject matter and medium is like Cassatt, but your own special touch shines through.
