One Year of Open Studio
 

I realized this morning that I have been at this weekly open studio for just over one year. Not much time in the grand scheme of things, but I have seen considerable improvement in my drawing and observational skills in that time!

The top drawing in sanguine is Susan...Drawn June 17th, 2008...not...quite nice and showing much need of improvement. One of my stinkers for sure.

The next two are Meera and Marlin both drawn this month.

I see significant improvement and progress and I can only recommend this path! One year down....now for another 20... :)

You most definitely have improved! I loved perusing through your progress on the sketchbook post and seeing your improvement there. I am inspired by the time you get to spend in open studio. Is it an open drawing class only, or are we going to start seeing some oil sketches from you on a weekly basis?
