Alexei Antonov has an online painting lesson: "How to paint a pink rose in the classical painting technique" at:

Mr. Antonov paints in an old classical griasille method that many of the Old Masters used. His work is beautiful. He as produced two videos, one is about painting still life and his latest is "A portrait of Anna."

There are so many ways to paint. His methods are a little different than mine, but similar. I gather that he received his classical training in Russia.
