Mattelson music video!?!?
1 Attachment(s)
One of my recent Atlanta July 2007 workshop students, the talented and uproariously funny Dusty Scott, has animated one of my previous workshop demonstrations (Moria: Atlanta 2004) and put it to a music track by my favorite guitarist, Leo Kottke.
Dusty did an awesome job, so I wanted to share it with you all. Here's a link to the music video: http://www.fineartportrait.com/portr...ideo_demo.html and here's the link to my demo in step-by-step still images: http://www.fineartportrait.com/workshop_demo_2.html |
Hi Marvin,
Dusty did a great job and I can't wait to take my time viewing this again and again while I'm painting. What a great idea and almost like having you painting in my studio right along with me (NOT) Tell Dusty the pause choice is going to be a great feature - and thanks for giving us this free!! Long time! I hope you are doing very well! Denise |
Hi Denise,
Glad you like the little movie. I'm doing quite well thanks. I'm excited about the progress I'm making with my paintings and very much looking forward to my classes this fall. |
Fun, fun, fun
I just came across this, Marvin. I was in your workshop when you painted this. I completely enjoyed watching this video, hearing "your" music and getting sentimental about your workshops. You do magic Marvin. Glad you are doing so well!

The music and movie were very cool. From reading several of your posts on the forum, I'll bet your workshops are quite lively.
I was an illustration student in the eighties and an illustrator, for about a minute and a half, in the nineties. I've always admired your work. |
Fun to watch! Now you need to post this on Youtube and get billions of hits, millions of students and hundreds of commissions! :)

Marvin,
Thanks for posting this. It was interesting and fun to watch! I love seeing how other artists approach their work. |
