Hello,

I just finished this commission. The family hasn't seen it yet, but I have a good feeling about it. When I photographed the boy for this portrait he was really shy and didn't want to laugh at all! I don't need a laughing picture per se, but I prefer a twinkle of an eye :) .
But anyway, when the boy's father made a bit of a dirty joke (children

You paint sun-infused hair so effectively with your edge control and detail editing. This must be harder to do than it appears. The client should be very pleased. A nice little composition of colors and contrasts!

Thanks Mischa and Garth for your compliments. The client already had a portrait of their other son, done in a very different style by an other painter, but they were very clear that I could do my thing and they were very pleased.
