I thought this would be a bit different, not only in medium but subject matter for here.

These are steel pen and ink with wash. I am just doing a series of these quick renderings to work on value and line.

Beth,

I really love your pen & inks!

Richard Monro 02-27-2006 09:17 PM

Beth,
Now I'm a fan! Wonderful fluid renderings.

Janel Maples 02-27-2006 10:59 PM

OH Beth,
These are great!

Janet Kimantas 02-28-2006 06:48 PM

Beth,
Wow.

Beth, these have great energy and charm. Such a good sense of movement here; whether you did them on the spot or not, they have a real freshness to them.

Alexandra Tyng 02-28-2006 07:44 PM

Ditto, Beth. I admire the way you captured the different positions with fluid lines. Is that sepia ink?

Beth - I love your little dancers. My favorite is the little girl with her arms out like she's keeping her balance.

You have my deepest admiration for the lovely quality of these line drawings with wash.

Terri Ficenec 03-02-2006 01:12 AM

Lovely Beth! You've captured some really natural moments.

Ngaire Winwood 03-02-2006 08:16 AM

Beth, they are simply stunning little pieces. Your confidence shines through. Maybe you have started a new thread? Pen and Wash!
