Thank you for all the great comments and advice for this one under WIP. I always appreciate it. :) Just a note, it is hard to see here online, but in person it is clear that she is looking down, not directly at the viewer. |
 Bravo! Thanks for letting us follow the progress!

Kim this turned out beautifully!
Sassy and just a bit mysterious. I really like how you handled the background and how edges of your hair are lost into it. The flesh tones are lovely and the subtlety of those paintbrushes in your shadowed hand is a really nice touch. |
Thanks Lacey and Terri.
I'm still actually not completely satisfied with the cheeks/shape of the face....I may have to re-post it. Whoever had the bright idea to use someone with a crooked smile needs to be slapped. :o |
Great
I really like this painting, I think the butterfly over the hand is just what it needed, beautiful color, very imaginative. Makes you stop and think.

Kim,
Loved the way you resolved the painting. As usual you do incredible work. By the way, I love the smile so don't slap the model. She has great verve! |
Thank you gentlemen. :)

Kim,
You are one saucy merchant and one great painter. And, I like your mouth just the way it is (that sounds like something only a husband would have to say). |
Mike, I do not know exactly what a saucy merchant is, but it sure sounds good, so I'll take that. ;) Thank you!
