Salon 2005 - in San Antonio

This is my 2nd year in the International Salon competition. I think they changed the name - because last year it was called something like 'International Masters of Realism..." I miss the word 'masters'!!

Anyway - if anyone would like to check out the show it's online at www.greenhousegallery.com

Last year Linda B. & Tim Tyler were in this show as well - they didnt enter this year though and I dont think I recognized any other artists from here.

There is some very good work there and if anyone is in the San Antonio area it is well worth seeing in person. It opens this coming Saturday - May 7th.

Kim,
Congratulations on the sale of the piece as well a getting in the show. I just viewed it extremely close-up. Great fun to study your painting strokes and see the face so close up. I smiled the whole time I was studying it (they must think me a goof at the office here at work!). Unfortunately when you click on information about the artist nothing comes up. :(

Great painting!! Good luck on your move. I hope all goes smoothly for you and your family.

Patty

Thanks Patricia!

Just so you know - that extreme close up they have posted is too high in contrast. :o I cringed when I saw it because it was my first piece on ABS and isn't nearly as smooth/finished as I can get on the ABS now.

Yeah - last year they never put in the info about the artists either - unless it was one of their year-round artists they represent.

Hey! There is one of my photos I can nab in case that one isnt recovered. They took it and it's a higher resolution than mine was. woohooo! There is one, 180 or so left to recover.
