Commercial canvas tightening sprays, safe or unsafe?
 

Hello,

Has anybody used these? Are they a safer alternative to the ubiquitous water spritzes that give me the he-be jeebies to use? I hate the thought of a water or an alternative, spray seeping through and damaging the painting layers.

I took a workshop recently with Juliette Aristides, whose work is featured on ARC. She said, to my surprise, that she uses some kind of commercial canvas tightening spray. She didn't say what brand, though.
