Watercolor Portrait

This is a watercolor portrait on 300lb Fabriano Uno Soft Press, using Winsor and Newton pigments. The subject is a gentleman who attends worship services with us weekly. When I first saw his face I knew it had to be painted.

Paul,

What a striking portrait. It really does look like a photograph, it's rendered so perfectly. I really like your use of vivid colors on this portrait and the flower girl painting.

This is just amazing to me. I have never seen watercolor so vivid. You definitely get my thumbs up on this. Outstanding!

Paul,

Same here. I have never seen such execution in watercolor medium. There is such thing as perfect.

This is an outstanding portrait. You paint with watercolor like a master, and it's such a difficult medium to handle especially when painting portraits in a realistic fashion.

Wow!
