Hello all,

I have had a busy holiday, and hope that you all have had a fantastic time as well. This is a drawing I am finishing up for a client. Comments please? I know, my darn edges are still a problem, and I am having a hard time retraining my brain to ease up on them. Sorry :-)

Jennifer,

Here's an online portrait demonstration that I found helpful for drawing a portrait with less dependence on line. Yes, there are lines in it, but the artist developed the line and shade together, so neither took over.

I found it helpful.

Jennifer, if you go photo realism, you have to do it absolutely perfectly. THAT is alot to live up to. This, as 99.99999% of all photo realistic pencil "workings," does not, I am sorry to say.

Why not come over to the sketch side. Chisel your point and have a little fun. You have the talent. :)
