Good afternoon Forum members,

There is so much talent and so many lovely artists here, I have found it difficult to break away from learning to introduce myself and say hello.

I have been painting for about 30 years and still consider myself a beginner. I paint with varying mediums but prefer oil and pastel for my portraits.

I enjoy painting children, they have such innocent soulful hearts, plus they make make me laugh and include me as one of them.

I have attached a photograph of myself with one of my endearing subjects and her portrait.

That work looks really beautiful and seems to be a very true likeness. Do you think you can post a clearer view of the painting, perhaps in one of the unveiling sections? Also, is the work an oil or pastel?
