I was hoping someone else would come forth and start a thread of photos, but since that hasn't happened I'll begin. As usual I get so busy I forget my camera or forget to use it. So the only ones I have are those my husband took at the banquet, where I unveiled a portrait of George A, Weymouth, who received the Leadership in the Arts Award.

1) That's me delivering a "few words" at the unveiling.

2) The Tyng/Kantor/Kahn family at the banquet

3) Tom Edgerton, me, and Linda Brandon

4) Garth Herrick taking photos

Does anyone have more? There must be a few of you out there. Garth?

Alex--

Can you post the painting? It's fabulous!

Sure, Tom! I'll post in in the Unveilings Section.

Alex's painting and talk were terrific. I posted photos of it in a thread under Member News. I also gave a talk, entitled "From Rookie to Pro". This photo was taken by Marina Deul.

Great photos, Michele!

Michele's talk was so good that someone from Nelson Shanks' Studio Incamminati asked her to return to Phila to give the same talk there. Michele, although I know you don't want to develop a career giving talks, it's such an excellent opportunity for you!

Here are two more photos. I feel like one of those groupies that gets her picture taken with all the stars. The first one is of Ellen Cooper, who won a portfolio award, and who won a prize last year for her beautiful portrait of mother and daughter. The second one is of me and my daughter with David Leffel and Sherrie McGraw.

Here is Rob Liberace's demo : the technique of 3 crayons which interested me a lot, of course !
Michele's speech was very stimulating and instructive.

Marina, that must have been a good demo--sorry I missed it. I guess I thought it was going to be a drawing workshop so I didn't sign up. (Somehow the PSA weekend is too intense for me to want to draw or paint during it.)

They're likely all writing the same sentiment in their blogs, about their photo ops with you.

You SOGers are a snazzy-dressing group, and astute about whom to rub elbows with. I'm down to a single suit, the employer having gone casual and the daughter's marriage a done deal, so I may have to work on an enhanced wardrobe if I'm to ever blend in at a PSA gig.

It's great to "see," each year, faces that go with Forum names, and to hear of continued successes.

Great to see these photos! Thanks for sharing them. :)

Believe me, Steven, you only need one suit, for the banquet. The rest of the weekend is casual. You would fit in well...and I hope you make it one of these years.
