Hello,

I am delighted to finally be accepted into this wonderful forum, after browsing for a long time.

I have been painting just three years, so you can imagine how much I have yet to learn. I have a long way to go before I could call myself a portrait artist, although I do love to paint people most.

Thank you for accepting me. I look forward to asking a lot of questions.

I believe we once met at a garden party given by the Beckwiths. I apologize again for the disturbance I created. One always assumes these baby grands have wheel locks. I was surprised how long it floated in the pool before it sank.

Hi Tricia, if this is your work only after three years you have been very busy in this time. Your work is lovely. Welcome to the forum, it is a great place to learn all sorts of things.

A warm welcome from me as well. I joined only recently, and am enjoying the company and knowledge of this wonderful group of people immensely.

Like Allan (who is a fellow viking) I'm really curious of the grand piano story, so please...please do tell!

By the way, your work looks fabulous, so you'll probably be telling us a thing or two too!!
