Merry Christmas everybody
;)
Since Australia gets there first, I'd like to extend to everyone on this Forum a Merry Christmas. I've derived much pleasure and motivation from my visits to this site and look forward to many more hours of stimulating reading in the New Year :) |
Let's see how many countries we can cover. I'm visiting relatives in British Columbia for the holidays. Merry Christmas from Canada!
|
I'd have ni hao'ed you from Taipei, Margaret, but I'm actually just down the track from you, Gold Coasting and kicking up sand on Fraser Island, after Christmas dinner tonight up in the Blue Mountains with Aussie friends from yore (or yonks). I never got used to Christmas in mid-summer when I lived here, and it seems pretty strange today, too. The city is deserted.
So Merry Christmas and G'day! Steven |
HoHoHo from Cincinnati, Ohio (how about those Bengals?) - since I did not see a "state" mentioned yet!
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and I'll add a Happy New Year too! |
Well, a very Merry Christmas from New York State.
It's snowing and lots more is coming! geri |
Merry Christmas to all from Florida...it's not snowing, but cloudy and windy.
|
Alas, Denver does not have a white Christmas, but alacking we are not. :)
Happy Holidays to everyone! |
Merry Christmas
Hi everybody and Season's Greetings from Wisconsin. Madison has no snow yet, cloudy but still Christmas Spirit is everywhere. Wish you were all here for goodies and hot apple cider. Hope this finds you surrounded by love.

Merry Christmas! No snow in Georgia, either!
:santa: |
Merry Christmas from Southern New Jersey! We had a lovely soft snowfall Christmas Eve which blanketed the trees and ground and turned everything into a marvelous picture postcard, but then the temperature shot up and it was all washed away by morning. Nice to have had a glimpse of traditional northeasterly Christmas scenery, though. Snow or no snow, I hope Santa was good to everyone here.

Oops
It appears that I've been logged in all afternoon without actually being here. While I was posting earlier Santa made a surprise visit to our house. I got so excited I forgot that I was logged in. So my apologies to any who may have thought I was here. If you don't believe me I'll post a picture of me on Santa's lap! :santa:

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL FROM WEST VIRGINIA
Christmas morn was a welcome blanket of white ---fluffy snowflakes still falling in slow motion. Absolutely beautiful. We loved it but ice soon covered highways. Not real bad for us as we were blessed with one day extended visit with one of our 6 month old grandsons. A bit of a chance to travel to Carolina so they stayed and I love it. Have a great New Year to all. |
Hello all from California,
It's 1:55am January 1st 2003 in Ca. I assume we're the last to ring in the new year, and the last to give up the old one. I wish you all a great and productive 2003. Buon anno Felice ano nuevo shin nian quai leh Happy New Year :D |

Happy New Year!
A prosperous New Year (and old one as the year progresses) to all from Decatur, Alabama. Y'all have a good one!

Great property Patt,
It must be inspiring. I've got Italian upbringing, and I'm picturing a cup of espresso and a biscotto while sitting there with a nice book. Enjoy the property. Ciao, Anthony |
And a cup of espresso to you Anthony. Yes, my back deck is overlooking this and we used to own the 70 acres that is part of this view. No longer but we still live in the 100 year old county farm house and share the best view.Gratefully so. Happy New Year to ya.

A Belated Seasonal Greeting
A belated seasonal greetings for everyone. I was another Christmas caroler who spent the season in the Southern Hemisphere - four weeks in South Africa, gorgeous country - almost inspired me to become a landscape painter. Jet lag has me catching up with all the news on SOG. One of my New Year's resolutions is to continue to explore and use this site. I learned so much in 2002 in just the two months that I was a member. Wonderful advice, wonderful discussions from wonderful teachers. I wish you all the very best for 2003 and may your palettes never run dry.
