:sunnysmil Well, it's after 9:30pm here and I'm just finishing my work for the day. Trying to decide if I have the energy left to do my Denise Austin tape today. I have closets full of clothes...many that I can't wear. :(

That's not been my experience, though perhaps it is true for some illustrators. I come from an illustration background, and I always think my drawings from life are better than my drawings from my imagination. While I am not ashamed of my "made up" drawings, the ones from life (especially figure drawings) are just better.

In my experience, the only way an artist can develop the knowledge to "make up" drawings is to practice drawing (including LOTS of drawing from life).
