Thank you all for your responses. You guys have to entertain me for a while. I just photographed Audrey Hepburn this morning I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

My monitor has not been in good adjustment for quite a while I guess. I've been adjusting my scans erroneously. I'm going to re-post the cropped image one more time. This should be closer to actual, I'm curious to see the difference side by side.

The image posts that I have done in this thread are from my own photographs (from film) of the painting. I place the painting in a chair near the same window light that I photograph people. I try hard and do as good a job as I can.

Yesterday I got this painting back from the professional photo lab that takes slides of my paintings. I then had a print made from that slide. I'm going to post them both back to back. First my best effort unadjusted and then the print from slide.
