Make It a Series

[QUOTE=Mara Schasteen]Well, I may be biased, but she is darn sweet, isn't she? I am leaning toward number 4, as suggested by Claudemir and Marvin, but I do love her mouth/lips in number 3. This is tough. #4 is a unique pose for a potrait. Any advice or concerns welcome.

Other than time, something babies demand, what's stopping you from doing a series??? The expressions and poses lend themselves to sweet, beautiful drawings. You couldn't go wrong.

Why don't you try to make it 19 x 25? If you don't want to fill the whole paper, you can do a vignette which will be lovely.

Patricia, I love your comment about personality oozing... That seals the deal for me - #4 it is!

Claudemir, I think I will create the final drawing larger as you have suggested.

Carol, I agree! Why not a series?? I'll do it.

Very cool!

I'm looking forward to seeing all you do.

I think she likes it

Here is some progress. I've actually finished more of the practice sketch than in this photo, but I had to post these just for fun. I guess I'll continue posting my progress in the Drawing Critique section.

I can see that you're going very well, and she seems to be having fun too.

I can't wait to see how this turns out, love the sketches!
