I like how you are getting bolder with the juxapposition of the tradtional and modern worlds. Very, very interesting! As soon as I realized her reflection was dressed differently than her "real" figure, I satrted wonderng whether the reflection was really the "real' girl and we are, so to speak, in the looking-glass world. Because, really, a painting is an illusion and we are getting a glimpse into her world to begin with. I like how the red flowers are placed between the two figures, how they separate them and draw attention to them and to the space between them. |

I really like your painting. The figure of the girl in the dress has a great rhythm that you can feel from the tip of her head all the way down to her foot. And I like how the movement is continued from the raised foot to the fall of the draped fabric on the chair and across the carpet and then back up to the reflection in the mirror. Nice colors too.
