I am probably going to be shot for critiquing one tiny part of this beautiful piece, but the tangent of her finger and the string going out the the "Hershey Kiss" shape thing is bothering me.

I think you're just setting the bar higher and higher for yourself as time goes by.

I also worked more on the head.
By the way, it isn't a likeness. In resemblance, it's about as close as a cousin would be to the model.

I might work more on it yet. I take my time before pronouncing anything really finished!

That's just a dirty rotten lie. I understand you are probably trying to make us mere mortals feel better, but nobody who has taken a workshop with you (or seen you demonstrate) is going to be buying the above statement. :)

How did I miss this lovely piece, except perhaps you posted it in December, when my mind is usually toast.

The head is beautiful. It is just wonderful to look at something so simple yet masterful.

I know I see anything by you it will be beautiful. You make it look so simple....
